it was one of those rare sunny days in la push. everyone knew it wouldn't last long but when noah had showed up at yasmin's house that morning and asked if she wanted to go the beach she just couldn't say no to him, he was her boyfriend after all. quickly putting on her green and white bikini top and black swimsuit bottom. she grabbed a white t-shirt from her closet that was long enough for her not to wear shorts. slipping on a pair on white flip flops she walked over to her dresser and fasted two bright green bows in her hair and grabbed her silver chain with the neon green knuckles on it along with her favorite silver chains. she stuffed her favorite beach towel, the one with the two wolves on it, her i-pod and headphones and her sidekick into her bag and walked down the stairs and out the door to meet noah.
smiling up at him she gave him a gentle kiss before poking him in the stomach. "okay i'm ready let's go. i hope it doesn't start to rain today." she wasn't a big fan of going to the beach in the rain, especially after what happened last time she went to the beach on a rainy day. since her house wasn't that far from first beach the two of them walked down to the beach from her house. ever since her sister ran away yasmin had been a little depressed but noah and lacii had done a good job of cheering her up. she was glad to be out on the beach with noah, he always had a way of cheering her up when he knew that there was something bothering her. it was a nice day so of course the beach was full of people who were out swimming in the water, surfing and working on their tans. yasmin found a spot close to the water and ran over as fast as she possible could. taking her towel out of her bag she layed it out on the floor and sat down on it. pulling noah down with her she giggled. "i have a very good feeling that today is gonna be fun babe." taking off her shirt yasmin stood up and started walking to the water. "so are you just gonna sit there or are you gonna come with me?" she ran ahead before noah could catch up with her. she knew that once he caught her she would get tickled to death for sure.
as she was running around the beach heading towards the water she saw a few familiar faces around. they were all people that she had seen at the party. every now and then she would stop and say hi. she was a good enough distance away from noah that she stopped to take some time to breathe. that moment didn't last long enough though. she really had to remember that she was running from a werewolf, not just a regular human. she started running again but she didn't get far before she bummed into someone. "oh my gosh i'm so sorry i didn't mean to bump into you." she looked up to see who she had bumped into. she suddenly wished that she hadn't looked up. "oh, hi nolan. i'm really sorry for bumping into you. really i am."

Noah woke up to the sun shining in his face. He had finally had a night off from patrol the night before. It was about time. It seemed like it was a patrol night for him. Since he had the night off, he spent most of it with Yasmin. They were official now so it gave him a reason to spend even more time with her. He would have stayed with her longer the previous night but they had already made plans to go to the beach. Noah got up out of bed and went straight to his dresser to find a pair a shorts for the beach. He thought he would wear a pair of his green and white board shorts since green was Yasmin's favorite color. He strolled over to his closet to find a shirt. He settled on an Underoath shirt. He walked straight to the bathroom to take a shower. His morning shower helped him wake up so it was a must. After he was showered and dressed, he walked out of his room to the linen closet to find a beach towel. He grabbed the first one he saw. Luckily it wasn't an embarassing one like Disney Princess or something. It was just regular, white beach towel. Nothing spectacular. After he grabbed his towel, he headed out the door to go get Yasmin. They were going to walk from her house to the beach since it was so close.
When he arrived at Yasmin's house, by some miracle, Yasmin was ready before Noah even reached the door. He was greeted with a kiss and a poke in the stomach. Noah twitched a bit. "Hey now, you know I'm ticklish. he said poking back at her a few times. He knew that she was ticklish too. He grabbed her hand and they began walking to the beach. "The forcast says that it should be sunny all day which is good. We can stay at the beach for a while. he said. Noah loved the beach. This was the first time Yasmin had agreed to go with him. He had asked her before and she would just sort of change the subject. On top of everything, Yasmin had been depressed since Haley had run away. Noah was there for her talk to everyday. Some days she would just cry and he would hold her for hours until she fell asleep in his arms and other days, she would need to vent and he was there to listen to her. He thought a trip to the beach would be good for them. They needed to get out of the house. When Yasmin spotted a spot near the water, she ran over to the water as fast as she could with Noah in tow. She stopped at the spot and pulled her towel out. Noah chuckled a bit. "Nice towel babe." The wolves were a nice touch. She sat down and Noah was looking out over the waves when he was suddenly pulled down and he almost landed right on top of her but he caught himself before smashing her. He was looking down at her into her eyes. "I have a feeling that today is going to be fun too." he said smiling before giving her a kiss. He rolled over onto his towel, which he had laid down right next to Yasmin's. Yasmin stood up and too off her shirt revealing her green bikini top and black bikini bottoms. Noah whistled. "Is it hot out here or is it me?" Noah said jokingly as Yasmin began walking toward the water. As she began to run Noah smiled and got up. He was giving her a head start. After all, he could catch up pretty quickly. He saw her stop to talk to some people that had been at the party. He was proud of her for opening up to some people in La Push. When she was pretty far ahead of him, he pulled off his shirt and began running towards her. It was tickling time.
As he was running, it looked like Yasmin had realized that Noah was on his way over to her and she began running again. He broke into a run at about half the speed he could actually go. When he had reached her, she had run into someone and she had a scared look mixed with surprise on her face. Noah looked over to the guy she had run into. The guy had been at the party. He recognized the face. Noah already knew that the guy was also a shapeshifter. It was kind of a thing that all shapeshifters knew. They could always tell when another shapeshifter was standing in front of them. The three of them stood there and Noah could feel a tension. In order to break the tension, Noah extended his hand out to the guy, "Hello, I'm Noah." he said smiling, wrapping his other free hand around Yasmin's waist. Yasmin must have known him but from the way she was looking at him, he was either ready to protect her or be a nice guy....whichever one Yasmin needed.

Nolan was running back into his human form, with his sister trailing behind him. He didn’t look back, and he knew his sister certainly didn’t look forward, so they separated quickly to change into their clothes which were tied around their leg with string. The only thing that Nolan managed to save was his boxers, his pants, and his shoes, since Lacii decided to run off into the woods before him, taking off everything as quickly as possible. After they regrouped they headed toward their house, for they could clean up and get some rest. During their walk Nolan tried to zone out into a place, but having to hear his sister complain that she lost her bra during her changing process was really, really distracting.
Once they got to their house, crossing the narrow driveway, they kicked off their shoes, and both looked at each other and one door. The one door that led to the only shower in the house, at the moment of course since Nolan was in the process of making another upstairs. Nolan quickly ran off toward his room, shoving Lacii as she tried to burst into her room, which was directly in front of the bathroom. Nolan ran into his room, and grabbed a clean pair of boxers from the open cabinet which had some stuff, that was hard explain for a person to have in their. Then he tumbled toward the door, trying to grab a pair of pants as fast as he can. Successfully grabbing a pair of pants, he ran into the bathroom, closing the door into Lacii’s face. “Ha! Gotta be faster than that!”, He said dancing around in victory. Behind the door he can hear Lacii growling, “God! You’re an ass. And by the way you’re holding board shorts dumb ass!, now hurry up!”, He could hear Lacii slammed the door to her room. “How rude.”, Nolan said looking at the door, acting as if his sister still was there. He looked out the window which was directly over the bathtub, and noticed that it was a sunny day. He looked back down at his board shorts. “First beach it is.”, Nolan said answering the ‘What to do for today?’, that peered into his mind.
After a few minutes pasted, Nolan got out of the shower, dried himself off with a towel, and dressed himself with the clothing he grabbed from his eager attempted to get the first bath before his sister. He opened the door, to see his little sister holding some clothing and wearing a angry smirk on her face. As Nolan walked out of the bathroom and into his room, he was punched in the arm by his sister.“Ouch! You know if I wasn’t inhuman, that would really hurt”, He said talking to the now slammed door from the room he just exited. He walked into his room, which was about two feet away from the bathroom, rubbing his arm.“It still hurts”, He said while looking around for some sandals to match the light blue and white board shorts. He failed to find another matching white sandal, but decided to just grab a blue sandal instead. “it still matches”, he said out loud, while grabbing a towel which was hung on top of his closet, and the car keys, on the hook near the door.
Nolan walked out the front door, and got into his car. He drove toward first beach, ignoring stop signs and speeding threw streets, only obeying one rule, don’t hit the granny or the kids. As he drove into First Beach’s parking lot, successfully not being pulled over by any cops, he parked in his usual parking spot and got out of the car. He kicked off his sandals, under his car, knowing no one would take them, and walked out top of the warm soft sand. He could hardly feel the temperature of the sad, but he knew by standing on it, I’d be even hotter. He walked slowly out into the beach, looking to see if he knew anyone on their. It was just a bunch of kids his age, which attended social gatherings he’s been too. Basically, it was just a bunch of teens that went to a party that he went to a few nights ago. He bumped into one of the girls he was talking to that night. She asked if he wanted to play Frisbee, and Nolan being a sporty kind of guy, agreed. The game started with three people, but with Nolan doing flips while catching the Frisbees, many joined. It was about an even match, their were about ten people on the opposing team, and eight on Nolan. The guys didn’t think it was fair for it to be an even numbered team, since Nolan was cheating with the flips and such.
After a while, the Frisbee game was being pulled farther, making everyone spread out. Nolan was happy that it was getting this big since he liked playing with more people. One of the girls, who had the eyes for Nolan, threw the Frisbee directly at him, he stood where he was, waiting for the Frisbee to land in his hands, since the objective of the game was too not drop the Frisbee. The Frisbee was in the air, Nolan had his arm close together, and high enough for him to catch it. It was about right their in his hands, when he felt a force push in from the back. He hand tipped the Frisbee of his finger tips, but was failed to catch it. Instead it landed right in front of him.“Aw Man”, Nolan wined out loud. He turned to see what pushed him, and cost him the game.
Nolan couldn’t, wouldn’t, and defiantly didn’t believe who it was. The one girl he thought he’d probably would see for a while. The only girl who vanished during Nolan’s sleep, after he had just saved her from being raped by two perverts. It was Yasmin, in a green and white bikini. “No, No its okay Yasmin it was my fault.”, Nolan had the cheesy smile on his face. He couldn’t help himself, since he knew he was drawn to her. “Wow, how have you been, I haven’t seen you in like forever”, He said trying hard to hold back the excitement and happiness in his actions and tone. Nolan was like a hyper puppy on steroids when it comes to seeing Yasmin.
A few seconds passed, with a speechless, and yet a desire to die expression on Yasmin’s face, when a boy came up to Yasmin with a smile on his face. Yet the smile changed as soon as possible when he saw Nolan. The scent in the air, helped Nolan realize who and what the kid was. He was a shape-shifter, or wolf for some imaginary minds, he was young one as well, just like Nolan was. The bloodsuckers that moved into Forks, could’ve created the change for the kid.
Nolan ignored the kid, looking back a Yasmin with a question mark expression on his face. The kid extended his hand toward Nolan, and grabbed Yasmin with the other. “Uhm, im Nolan?”, He said grabbing the kids hand and giving him a five instead of a shake. “Uhm, can I speak to Yasmin for a second”, without getting an answer Nolan grabbed Yasmin by the arm softly and walked off leaving the boy alone. They walked a couple seconds away from the kid, just to making hearing a little hard for him, since he knew the kid had great hearing due to being a shape-shifter. Nolan crouched a bit, and so did Yasmin, trying to hide the conversation a bit from Noah. “Uhm, Yasmin……..what’s going on here?”, Nolan was confused as hell, and he felt kind of jealous too, but he was trying to hold back the jealous, though it seemed to slither its wait into Nolan’s question.

yasmin knew that she would be in for at least one poke after she had poked noah in the stomach. despite the fact that he was a werewolf he knew how to control his strength so that he wouldn't hurt yasmin. "no comeone that's not fair. i only poked u once. stop noah you know i'm ticklish." she twitched as noah continued to poke her before finally laughing, which was probably what he was trying to get her to do. "okay okay i surrender.you win." after he finally stopped poking her the two walked hand in hand to the beach. after being in la push for a few months she had learned not to listen to what the forecast said. it was often wrong so you really couldn't trust it. "i hope so. i really don't like being on the beach in the rain." she still hadn't told noah why she hated being on the beach in the rain. she would tell him eventually, she just wasn't ready to talk about it yet. she knew that if anyone would be able to comfort her and move past what had happened it was noah. she just couldn't bring herself to tell him yet. her mom didn't even know what had happened to her. the only people who knew were nolan and lacii.
she smiled when he mentioned her beach towel. yasmin's father had been a werewolf and so was her sister. not only that but her grandmother was one of the tribe elders. despite not liking the fact that haley's personality changed when she joined the pack yasmin was proud of what her family was. the beach towel was a gift from her grandmother after she found out that haley was the one to make the change and not yasmin. "why thank you." she leaned over and kissed him gently. she was really glad that she had met him. noah brought out the best in her and she brought out the best in him. as soon as he whistled at her she knew that he would probably be turning red like he always did. turning around to face him she laughed. "i think it's just you babe." turning away from him she took off running before he could catch up with her. running from a werewolf wasn't her best idea but she was having fun with noah and that was all that mattered.
yasmin really didn't know what to say. how does one talk to the guy who saved her from being raped? to be honest she knew that he had imprinted on her, she just didn't see him the same way that he saw her. she was grateful that he had been there to save her life but she wasn't in love with him. "i've been fine. a lot better then i was a while ago." she really was at a loss for words. she didn't expect to see him here. looking down at the sand she heard noah's voice. even though he was standing right next to her his voice sounded far away. feeling his arm wrap around her waist she felt a lot better then when she had first bumped into nolan. she had hoped that today would just be a fun day because she was with noah, but now it was looking like it was going to be an akward mess. as nolan gently grabbed her arm and pulled her away from noah she looked back at him. there was a look of fear in her eyes as if she was asking noah to help her. she knew he would understand, she just hoped that he would get her away from nolan as quickly as possible. she looked up at nolan as he spoke but in truth she wasn't looking at him. she was looking past him at noah. nolan was another one of the secrets that she kept from noah. if he knew that nolan had imprinted on her it wouldn't be pretty. "what do you mean what's going on? really nolan i'm sorry for bumping into you but i really should go back to noah." she got up to try and leave but she felt nolan gently grab her arm as if he was begging her to stay.

Noah got the feeling that this kid was ignoring his introduction. When the kid gave him a five instead of a handshake, Noah pulled back his hand. "Um....nice to meet you." he said with a suspicious tone. It seemed as though Noaln knew Yasmin somehow. Maybe he had met her at the party. Maybe he had a crush on Yasmin. Either way, he needed to be careful with how he approached Yasmin. Noah was beginning to get over his jealousy issues but only to a certain point. When Nolan grabbed Yasmin by the arm, Noah didn't even have a chance to answer back before Nolan was pulling her away. "Well actually....." was all he could get out before Yasmin was being pulled away. Noah stood there confused. He wasn't sure what was going on. It seemed that Yasmin knew Nolan as well but Noah was sure that Yasmin hadn't ever talked about meeting this guy....ever. It all had happened so quickly, Noah didn't really have a chance to process everything that was going on. When Noah looked to Yasmin, she seemed to have a fearful look in her eyes. Noah knew that she didn't want to be talking to Nolan alone.
Noah walked over to where the two of them werre talking in private and interrupted because he knew that was what Yasmin wanted. After being with her for a couple of months, he could read Yasmin's expressions pretty well. Noah walked up behind Yasmin and grabbed her hand. "Sorry for the interruption but we were actually, kind of in the middle of something when you pulled her away. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to get back to spending time with my girlfriend." Noah said with some authority. It was pretty rude of this Nolan fellow to just grab Yasmin away out of nowhere. Especially when he saw them together. Noah had just wanted today to be a fun day out of the house with Yasmin. Noah wanted today to be about Yasmin and him without interruption. Noah tugged a little on Yasmin's hand and they began walking away from Nolan. Noah bent over a little to whisper in Yasmin's ear. "Who is that guy and what the hell was he thinking pulling you away from me?" he said laughing a bit and kissing her head. Noah just wanted to forget about the entire situation and get back to having a good time with Yasmin. Hopefully this Nolan guy would take the hint and leave them alone.

What?, was all that Nolan could think, say or feel. “Why was She acting like this, and why was she with him?”, he thought. He felt no urge into arguing with anyone today, but he did feel like hanging out with Yasmin today, it was weird the way she was acting, after you saved a person from losing your innocence, you would think they would want to hang out with you a little more. This was, ab ovo, the weirdest think Nolan could ever see.
“Yasmin, wait.”, He turned as the boy walked with her away toward the group of teens who Nolan was playing Frisbee with earlier. “Yasmin, what’s going on?”, Nolan jogged over quickly to meet face to face with her, “C’mon, we can’t hang out? I’ve been meaning to ask how you’re feeling…….after… you know”. Nolan felt as if it was wrong to advertise that day, so he kept a hush tone to his sentence, and turned to face her only, for the boy couldn’t have heard her. Nolan did a pretty heroic thing, but that was his job, was it not?
He was made into this, supernatural wolf spirit, to help the innocent people that get attacked by vial bloodsuckers each day. If Nolan was more then one, what ever he was, he would go out threw out the world, and try and stop the bloodsuckers from harming any people, but he wasn’t so he was stuck in La Push, for the rest of his life, which wasn’t so bad if you come to think of it.
Nolan could feel a knife being stabbed repeatedly in his back, but it wasn’t really that, it was just the boy’s eyes pointing straight behind him, he could feel the hot glaze pierce his back. Nolan turned to face the boy, “Listen, I know you’re cool with Yasmin, but this is important.”, Nolan gestured his hand too face the group of teens playing Frisbee, “So, can you beat it for a second, don’t worry Yasmin will back with you soon, I just got to ask her a few things”. Nolan didn’t think it was too hard for the boy to listen and walk away, so he turned his attention back toward Yasmin. He tried to direct her a little farther away from the boy, and teens playing Frisbee, for they could have a little privacy. “Yasmin, how are you doing…. It’s been really long, and I haven’t a hi, what’s up, or a thank you ever since”, Nolan ask with a heartfelt voice .

looking down at the sandy beach yasmin was starting to regret even staying around to say hi to nolan. sure she was grateful that he saved her and all but she didn't like him like that. she was happy with noah, happier than she had ever been. leaning against noah she spoke in a voice so quiet it was almost a whisper. "that guy is Nolan Todd, he's Lacii's brother. i met him a few weeks after i had been in la push." yasmin didn't dare tell noah how she had met nolan. she wasn't ready to tell noah that she had been raped just weeks after moving to la push. feeling him kiss her head gently she pulled away from him slightly. she had a bad feeling about the fact that nolan was on the beach. things wouldn't end well with both nolan and noah around. she knew the way guys were, the fact that both guys were werewolves just made things even worse. slowly letting go of noah's hand she looked up at him. she could feel tears starting to build up in her eyes but she refused to start crying here on the beach. "noah can we please just go home? this was a bad idea. i just wanna go home." yasmin owed Nolan her life and all she had done since that day was avoid him like if he had a disease. She knew that was wrong but she just couldn’t face him, it was just too difficult to have to deal with.
Turning away from Nolan she continued walking by noah’s side. She could hear noah talking but she wasn’t really paying attention to him. Yasmin needed to tell him, the fact that she was hiding something from him was killing her inside. How would she even begin telling her boyfriend that she had been raped and that Nolan was the one to save her? ”babe, I have to tell you something. Its really important. Can we go home though so we can talk?” looking up at him the tears that were forming in her eyes were slowly starting to stream down her face. frozen in place as soon as nolan came running up to her she didn't know what to do. she didn't want to have to face nolan but she didn't have much of a choice. she knew that she owed him pretty much her life but still, couldn't nolan tell that yasmin wasn't interested? "nolan i can't do this now. can't you see that i'm with someone." pushing past nolan she pulled away from noah's grasp. having her boyfriend and the guy that saved her life was just too much for her to handle.
feeling nolan's hand take hers she looked up at him. she had to face him now, she had to stop avoiding him. looking from nolan's heart broken looking face she looked over at noah. he looked so confused, she would have to tell noah the whole story but that would come later. she needed to talk to noah alone, without having to worry about nolan putting his little commentary in. walking back towards noah she leaned her head against his chest. "i'll be back before you know it ok babe. i need to talk to nolan though. don't worry about me ok, i'll be fine." genlty kissing noah on the lips she slowly pulled away from his hand and followed nolan. she didn't like leaving him, especially when he had no idea what was going on but it needed to be done.
sitting down on the sand she looked up at nolan as he began to speak. looking up at him all the memories from that day came rushing back to her. it wasn't something that she liked to remember but seeing nolan just brought everything that she felt that day back. "i'm sorry i haven't spoken to you much. things have just been a little weird since that day." weird wasn't even the word, complicated was more like it. ever since she had moved to la push things had just been going all wrong. after she had gotten raped everything pretty much went down hill until she met noah. "really you have no idea what's been going on. i don't know if lacii told you, but haley is gone. things have been really hard." pushing her bangs out of her face she sighed. she really did like nolan but she cared about noah more than anything. she wanted to at least try to be friends with nolan but she wasn't exactly sure how noah and nolan would get along.
