Alexis sighed staring out at the sunset on the water from where she was sitting at the end of the pier. Chase had just left her not long ago, some family thing that he had to leave for. She had come up to Port Angeles to meet him at the pier and spend the day, and it really was a splendid time. Honestly though she did wish she could be able to spend some time with Chase at his place, but it just always seemed like that would never come to happen.
She ended up deciding to stay out at the pier a little longer just to think really and she was enjoying the alone time. Leaning back on her arms she let out a sigh closing her eyes for a moment. Opening her eyes, Lex frowned a little turning to glance back down the pier nothing was there but she still seemed to get this odd feeling of sorts. A slight breeze brushed past her and she zipped her hoodie standing up and finally coming up with the decision that she probably start heading back to her car and drive herself back to La Push.
Pulling her cellphone from her pocket she dialed a few numbers "Hey Chase, it's just me Lex, look I know you wanted me call and everything but I'm just leaving Port Angeles now, there's really nothing to worry about. Well good night, and I hope you have a good time with your family on your camping trip." she spoke casually into phone then slowly starting down the pier when she finished.

INDIGO, WAS, ONCE AGAIN HUNGRY. this was nothing new. the boy was nearly always starving. he just had a great way of containing it and keeping it all to himself. and then he would hunt in some back alleys. prey on sluts and drunks. that was just how he did. every once in awhile he would attack the stupid people who actually fell into his traps. but for now, he was working on anything. anything sounded good right now. that would explain why he was hunting on the small secluded piers. it was dark and there was a lot of room to work. indigo did well in the water. most humans; not so much. port angeles was always a good place to hunt. a lot of people went missing here. and it was away from where he lived. indigo moved a lot slower than usual towards the docks. and then he caught wind of her.
THE BOYS MOUTH NEARLY WATERED AT HER SCENT. he couldnt help it. indigo had a refined taste palette. he knew the good from the bad. but he didnt exactly smell what was under the shield scent. indigo stalked the scent silently, moving quickly now. there wasn't a single personal around right now. he didnt have to worry about anyone seeing him. this was perfect. indigo flew threw the city streets. he smiled a little eerily to himself. this was perfect. and it only got better when he saw the girl. he wouldnt be playing games tonight. there would be no getting her to trust him. it would be going straight for the kill. whether he came off creepy or not. she was alone and wide open. he paused as he watched her get up. indigo pushed the hesitation aside. and started forward.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE ALONE" indigo's mind moved quickly. "dont you know its dangerous?" he realized now that she was up and moving he would have to lure her in. especially after she had made that phone call. god dammit. he moved forward some and smiled at her, laying on the charm. he hated playing this game even though he was so absolutely amazing at it. "the pier is nowhere to be around the evening. all the monsters come out." he was trying to sound playful. but he was probably failing just a little. indigo had been losing touch with his playing with his food. he usually just went straight for the kill these days. it made life a lot easier. "why dont you let me walk you home?" yes. let the creepy human eating vampire walk you home.

Pausing a moment to slip her cell phone back in her purse, though when Alexis turned her head back ahead of her she immediately had let out a startled gasp seeing Indigo standing right there addressing her. Her eyes slowly roamed over him, perhaps a little warily like she wasn't completely sure she was believing what was coming out of his mouth. He was pretty good-looking she couldn't really deny that fact, but it still wasn't like she was interested in something unless the person was Chase.
"Well how do I know you're not just some psycho out right now." Alex shot back in a polite sort of way. "Yes, well, that will be a long walk." Alexis replied softly. "I don't really live around here, more back in the Forks area." she added slowly sidestepping around Indigo to get around him on the narrow pier listening carefully to see if she was going to have to deal with him following her.
She was now beginning to wish a little that she did leave right when Chase ended up leaving just avoid a confrontation that weirded her out her bit by some guy she didn't know at all.
word count -- can't remember music -- gangster's paradise notes -- I forgive you it really wasn't that bad, all my posts at the moment right now are pretty craptastic.

INDIGO JUST SMILED PLEASANTLY AT THE GIRL. He would really have to play nice. "Sorry for startling you." He held his smile for now. This was not going to go in his favor. Which was more than frustrating to the vampire. He was hungry. He didn't have time for her stupid quips and excuses. He would deal though. Indigo needed to eat. And he would have to play nice to get what he wanted from this girl. Indigo watched her with seemingly warm eyes. By her reactions, Indigo was wondering if he hadn't washed this outfit at some point. She was very up in arms. Then again, he did sneak up on her just a bit. Oh well. He may just have to make this quick and not play so nice. The boy would have to cake on all the charm he could manage. Even if it made him cringe and inwardly gag a bit. But he needed this. Now. He didn't have time to hunt down someone else to get his dinner. It took much too long. So by default, Alexis was his prime choice for feeding right now. He would get what he wanted.
HE LAUGHED A LITTLE AT HER. It was somewhat forced, but you couldn't really tell. Indigo had been doing this for a very long time. He knew how to hide his motives. "Honestly, do I look like a psycho?" The kid honestly looked some teenage lead singer of a screamo band. Oh the irony. He definitely caught the short amount of suspicion and venom under her polite tone. He didn't act offended at all. He just brushed it off quickly and continued on. "Really? You're a bit away from home then." And this is around where his nice act would end. Indigo slipped in front of Alexis once more. He reached a cold hand forward and brushed Alexis' bangs from her face before moving his hand down to brush her hair away from her neck. His eyes flicked up from her neck to her eyes. "Such a shame" Indigo mumbled. He grinned sadistically. He moved quickly, grabbing her arm and tossing her against the wooden pier carelessly. He wouldn't throw her in the water. That would be much too difficult. "You know, you have a great judge of character."

Alexis eyed him still a bit cautiously, her guard going down a little as tried to convince herself this really was nothing, he didn’t look much older than maybe twenty or so, probably just needed a phone or some money. Honestly what harm could some ordinary looking guy like him possibly do, right?
“Um, yeah I was actually just on my way home right now.” Alex replied quietly, trying just to ignore him as much as possible.
She could feel her heart begin to race in her chest a little when he suddenly brushed his fingers through her hair and then down to her neck making her cringe at the intimacy. A million questions were starting to fly quickly through her head; what did he want? Was he going to rape her? What was going on? Then that grin crossed his features, that grin that basically said she wasn’t safe here with him and he had an agenda of his own.
“What the--” Alexis suddenly exclaimed when he grabbed her arm, a sharp cry of pain came from her when she hit the pier hard, a hand going up to where she had hit her head. She wasn’t sure exactly what was going here but she wasn’t planning on sticking around. Quickly scrambling to stand up, her gaze darting around a bit and of course catching at how close she had gotten to the edge. She was debating on maybe jumping into the water if it got to a point where she had a hard time getting away but she wasn’t really sure if that was going to help anything. Staring across at Indigo for a brief second upon standing up she quickly turned to run.
